Michael Jackson died on Thursday in LA aged 50 from a cardiac arrest. Doctors were unable to revive him at his home and he was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced as dead.

An icon of this generation, the world is mourning Michael Jackson and tributes are pouring in daily from stars, family and fans.

As experts try to get to the bottom of why he died, reports that he took an overdose are increasing but a verdict has not been reached on the cause of his death.

There have also been suggestions that the stress over the 50 tour dates at the 02 in London played a part in his death, although his father has denied that it played a part.

It now appears that there will be a custody battle for his three children who are currently being looked after by Michael’s parents. It appears that the grandparents, the children’s biological mother, and the nanny, who reports say the children have a preference to stay with, will fight for custody of the children.
